Mary Bellamy is an illustrator and comic-book creator known for her manga-style works like Faux Facts and Aw Heck! In the latter, a young girl finds herself mistakenly trapped in Hell — and she wrecks holy, um, heck as she fights her way back to world of the living. Facing horrible dangers along the way of course — among them, killer demon rabbits! Ms. Bellamy rather likes rabbits it seems, because they play an even bigger roll in her new comic series Zorilita Guardians. But, seeing as we're all mature here, I'd like to ask the real question: how did we end up furry? And why do furries seem to be more prominent today? Is it really something that stems from childhood?

I suppose this could go for any fursona capable of carrying or letting another fursona hang on them while they could fly. I just originally thought of this because I was thinking of dragon fursonas. I never really thought of people's fursona's riding each other, even if they were a dragon fursona. Whereas in other stuff with dragons, sometimes a hero in a story is seen riding a dragon while it flies somewhere for some reason. So I was curious how common/uncommon it is for fursonas are capable of flying with another fursona, and what restrictions (if any) there are for flying with them.

1. Do you let other people ride you, why or why not? If so, how do they stay on, or do you just carry them? Do they need a saddle and if so, how does the saddle work and which areas does it attach? Would the saddle be able to go over clothes (assuming you wear them)?
2. What shape are your horns (or ears for non-dragons), and how long are they? Are you able to touch another part of the body? (like side of the neck, on the shoulders, back, whatever) Can someone hold onto your horns while they ride onto you? Are you okay with it? Does it effect your flying much if someone tries to turn your head with them?
3. How long/short, flexible, and strong is your neck? Can someone ride you just by holding onto the neck, or is that too awkward/too much pressure?
4. Are you able to fly when someone is on you? How light/small does someone else have to be to ride and how heavy/big can they get?

Any other thoughts/comments on the subject?

Today at my local Best Buy I bought a Wacom Intuos tablet (Med Size). I need some getting use to it, because boy is it strange. That being said, leave your refs (or text descriptions) in the comments, and I will draw headshots.

So I've known this dude for like 2 years, but haven't talked with him in a few months, but we were pretty close. I just noticed he changed his profile icon to a wolf drawing, and I did some stalking and found out some of his friends are furs, and that he has drawn some anthro art himself. I don't want to be too direct and freak him out. Last thing I sent him was talling him I liked his new icon, I might strike up a conversation more often with him.

EDIT: Wow thanks everyone for your suggestions! I think I'll wait to see how he responds and then go from there.

I'm a little concerned I might get hate for this but I'm genuinely confused about this. Why do people upload species sheets to social media like deviantart but then not let anyone use the species? (The most common occurrence being "closed species.") Isn't that a little bit counter productive? I just find it annoying when I see a cool species and get so many ideas for a character only to find out I can't make the character because the species is closed. And on a side note, I'm also wondering about species with really strict rules on how they can look. I understand not wanting your lizard species to start looking like generic dragons but I've seen people say a species can't have diverse markings. (A friend got told their character can't have heart marks and to change it or trash the character if they didn't want to get yelled at.) Isn't every member of that species just a recolor then?
