From my point of view, "furry fandom" is a place where people imagine themselves as animals. They find similar interests like yiff, vore, writing, fursuits, and other things. A "fursona" is one of the of the creatures the person portrays.
Is part of my viewpoint wrong? I know there is a stereotype saying that Furry Fandom is only sexual, and I know that's not very accurate. But, Is the "yiff" part of the fandom only optional?

Recent events in my life have led to me being here. So this is kind of an introduction type thing. (Do people do that here? I've seen it done on other subs but I have no clue if people do it here.)
