Gaming for Kitties, 2015
It's a couple of months away, but I wanted to stick a post up here about my yearly gaming marathon to help Big Cat Rescue in Tampa over Halloween weekend (October 31-November 1). The whole thing takes place online so you don't have to leave your home to watch and participate. If you can watch streaming video, you can join in.
I am a professional furry artist by day but my gamestreams have become popular even by people who normally hate gamestreams. I talk, I play silly games that are fun to watch, and do my best to interact with the chat.
I use a third party site to collect donations (they also send you a statement you can use for your taxes), so none of the money goes into my pocket. I even ask that people who want to donate to feed us do so with gift cards.
Also, we are giving away a TON of prizes. The marathon will run for fifty hours, and we will easily be able to give away a prize an hour. The only stipulation is that you donate to become eligible.
