Hello once again! This week on Furballd we look at the Lupin III anime movie, The Castle Of Cagliostro. This pre-Studio Ghibli, Hayao Miyazaki animated film is chocked full of action, comedy, suspense, and is well on the way to becoming one of the crew’s favourite movies.
Bye for now, but not forever!
This week’s song is “Innocent Deception” by Claire Yaxley and Dj Mystix. You can find the song on OCRemix here.

Please give me some ways to improve, thanks.
I finally figured out my fursona, but I can't draw. Fortunately line tools and coding let me exchange time for actual artistic talent.
Mostly furry sketches (practice and whatnot)
Today is my Actual Birthday
And so now I'm 21. And now, I'm not going go get drunk and forget various details of my life so Youtube can remember for me. Instead, I shall have a quiet day and later watch movies with some friends during the weekend. Remember the name of that one movie, No Breaks for College Students? That should be it.
Alright. This is partially a break.
I'd like to thank you guys for being so marvelous. I'm hoping I can spend more years here on this sub' with all of you. I'm thankful that you've become my friends. On the good news, I'll be putting out some chapters of a story I'm working on right now. It should be out relatively soon.
So a little about me.
I was born in California, lived there until I was four years old, then moved to Missouri for various reasons. Then when I was ten I moved to Washington State and lived on a military base until I was 16. For one more year I lived in Lakewood. Afterwards my parents told me we were moving back to Missouri, and so I'm here now. To this day, and in about 20 minutes I'll be going to college, where I hope to learn theology and such.
But my biggest aspiration is to become a novelist and produce works of fiction. Beforehand I wanted to be a game developed, but that was merely misunderstanding the feelings - I wanted to tell immersive stories in a way that video games just couldn't reach by their nature.
And a bit about Mr. Turnip as well...
Mr. Turnip is my answer to an existential crisis I was suffering sometime after I came here. I know it's non-traditional for things to get bad after you become a furry, but I love breaking rules (which is why my fursona's a turnip.) I felt so small, so vaporous in my existence, and so at loss to understand the nature of mankind's efforts and the universe, that adhering to any sense felt like a vain attempt at conforming. And so, in my decision to stop making sense I created a nonsensical creature who had never felt the burden of terror over what this world is, and how the bad outweighs the good - he was purely innocent. In fact, I made him so innocent that he wasn't even a proper furry: he didn't even have genitals. This made things weird when I went an IRC and the morphing-scorpion monster that stung me is all, "Are you excited?" and I'm all, "No! I'm terrified!"
So I'm not going through that crisis anymore, but I've grown quite attached to Mr. Turnip and I just can't stop talking about him. One day I'll attend a con, and if I can't afford a costume of the fella, I'll just give out turnips with little faces drawn on them for all the con-goers to enjoy.
Anyways, I'm going to go prepare breakfast. Talk to you later, everybody!
EditTons of thanks for these replies. You've all been wonderful! And I guess since I'm back, we can also make this into an AMA.

Rainbow 'Yena Badge... So many colors... *dies*
[New Furry] Jesus! I'm a Furry!
So, yeah... After some time thinking about it, learning and doing some of the good old fashion lurk I decided that it's time to let myself go and stop refusing what I really like and want to be part of..... IMMA FKING WOLF DAMMIT (งಠ ͜ʖಠ)ง
Ok really, I've never thought of the furries as something to do a fandom, I mean, I like the designs from movies and tv cartoons but things like the cons, arts, music (actually I didn't believe in music until a few days xp ) and because the lack of info about the fandom, besides of the apparently common thought that everything in the furs is porn, I've been away from it. That is until I found the art of Falvie and She pretty much wololo'd me xD
And yes, a little of back story. About myself, not that cares a lot but.... I'm a male, a MEXICAN male (yeah, the bad grammar in this post... sorry :x) studying graphic design, just starting so if I ever post draws you know what to expect and... pfff I don't know what else hmm.... 5.2 ft tall maybe?
Yeah, that's pretty much I can think. I hope to have fun in this subreddit, probably yes, and if you don't mind I'd be really thankful for some help to start a fursona, I'm not the best at drawing but I can do stuff. And also I'm still young to think in a full fursuit, but if someone from mexico could tell me of a place to buy at least ears and tails It'd be nice. Ok, I ain't making this any longer so let's keep it there. Have a nice night/day/weird dream hunt and hopefully I'll be coming here often ^

This Will Go Down On Your Permanent Record
Well now, this is something different: A “making of” book for a graphic novel. And in tune with the season as well. “High school can be tough enough as it is, but things get even more complicated when you’ve been bitten by a werewolf! Bestselling YA author Cornelia Funke (Inkheart) teams up with comic book artist and character designer extraordinaire Francisco Herrera and former Disney Animator and film Director Raul Garcia (The Missing Lynx) to create a wild and furry world where werewolves are real and hiding in plain view, even in high school! This lavishly illustrated sketch book documents the creative process of transforming Funke’s best-selling Young Werewolf into a brand new, exciting graphic novel series. Hundreds of sketches and color studies show the process of fleshing out the characters of the book as we discover the story of Matt, Lisa, and the incredible odds they have to face to battle an old Hollywood curse.” Bitten: The Full Moon Book is coming soon (in limited quantities) from Magnetic Press. Find out more over at Nerds Unchained.
I just wanted to say
This is my favourite subreddit, I love all of you and this place has made me very happy. Don't know what i would have done if I never found this place. Thank you all
