Hiya!
I've been subscribed to r/furry for a few months, but I've been with the furry fandom for maybe 3 or 4 years. I've never posted anything here honestly for fear my friends would browse my submitted comments/posts (as they've done before) and then proceed to judge the hell out of me. But y'know how that is- I can only stay quiet for so long!
  So I've decided to make an alternate Reddit account and introduce myself to everyone here! You can call me Kitame! Or Fox! Or Kit. Or Kitame.. It really doesn't matter!
I.. don't really know what else to say besides hello and I love you all. I've never had friends who I can be open with about the fandom, and browsing r/furry and furaffinity have basically been my safe-havens and continue to help me discover who I am. Ask me anything, feel free to talk, or whatever! Nice to meet you all ^

Hello, I'm pretty new here!

So I've recently decided that I want to eat significantly less meat. Maybe I'll even go fully vegetarian one day, I haven't decided that yet, but for now it's just about reducing it so that it isn't an everyday thing. Interestingly enough, this has coincided with an interest in the furry fandom, I subscribed to /r/furry pretty soon after I made that decision.

Now, I wouldn't say that one of those things caused the other, I'd say they were pretty separate. But it would be interesting to know if vegetarianism is more common here, since the entire fandom basically has animals as a basis so that would make sense to me.

I appreciate your input :)

Do any of you who are going to MFF work retail as well?

If it's any other convention any other time of the year, I'm able to request off and attend. But, with MFF ALWYAS being right after Black Friday and before Christmas, I'd never be able to get 4 days off for that! (and I'd love to go; we drive up to Chicago for ACEN every year, so it'd be another trip).

Like, are you able to request off, no problem? I'd LOVE to go, but I feel as long as I work retail, I'll never be able to.
