Outrage over video showing squirrel being pepper-sprayed

Police were called to Kimbrough Middle School in Mesquite, Texas, after a squirrel was seen behaving erratically. The concern was that this can be a sign of rabies.
As a baby squirrel hopped towards a policeman in the grounds of a school, he took out his pepper spray, apparently to defend himself against the potentially infected animal. As school children pleaded with the officer not to harm the creature, the squirrel advanced and the man reacted by spraying it. The squirrel became disorientated and started writhing on the ground.
A Mesquite Animal Control officer was called and cleaned the spray off the squirrel. After being given a satisfactory bill of health, it was released back into the wild.
A video recording of the pepper-spraying incident, made by students, generated outrage after it was posting on YouTube. Having received over 700,000 views in one week, comments on the video are split between those condemning the officer’s actions as heavy-handed, and those sympathising with his need to maintain personal safety in the face of a possibly rabid animal.

Tønsberg. How does the animal interpretation?

Also, I describe what I feel, see, feel and hear down on my paper. Can you talk to any animal? - Yes, I can. All of them I have had the opportunity to communicate with anyway, but some are better at making themselves understood than others. I have communicated with everything from hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs to livestock, burfugler, turtles and a type of iguana. Animals have feelings just as much as what we have. They may like each other and resent each other. They can love and get the heartbreak of being separated from those they are fond of whether a human or another animal.
Do animals notable personalities - Absolutely! And it is one of the most important aspect of animal call. The owner knows his animal again, that I have spoken rightly "person". I think that everyone who owns an animal or know more animals, have also noticed that they have different personality. Several animal species disadvantage in relation to us is that they do not have a lot of fine or ugly facial expressions can tell that they are happy or in pain, but this does not mean they do not have feelings. Do you feel that animals and humans have different barriers - I often find that animals have performance anxiety. They will not continue in the exercise or do poorly in competition because of nerves, others will be extra stringent when it really matters.
Can animals and children are compared in terms of openness or "naivete" - I often feel that the animals are at about the same mental age as children in the three-to six-year age.
Have you met any animals that have conveyed something about sexual experiences or sexual arousal with people / owners - No. This I have not experienced. Not sexually. It becomes more like a child again, they want to be kind to his owner and show their affection, but not courtship or other sexual advances. The closest I've come such a thing is the animals who say that they feel their owner is beautiful, and that they look forward to see how they look even without clothes. - Oh yes. Especially mine. EJA is hyper, happy and need to be near me all the time, while her mother, Cassie, is just cuddly. Kendra, named after playboybunnien course, is the smartest of them. Rio Takes On The World
In an unusual move, 20th Century Fox has released the next Blue Sky Studios move Rio in 72 countries outside of North America, a full week before releasing it in the U.S. on April 15th. According to reports the film is already doing quite well in Russia, and a few other countries as well. Like the Ice Age films from Blue Sky, this new film is directed by Carlos Saldanha. It tells the story of a blue macaw named (appropriately) Blu. Domesticated, it seems that Blu has never learned to fly. It also seems that he is the last mail blue macaw — and so begins his journey to the title city, where folks hope he will mate with the one remaining female blue (named Jewel) to save the species. Fox has released the first two minutes of the film as a video, and (in an only-these-days bit of tie-in) there is also a video advertising the Angry Birds/Rio game app for your I-Phone.

Furry Interview in "Natt og Dag", not a good impression.
"Natt and Dag" is a free, paid-by-ads newspaper in Norway, distributed in stores and pubs and stuff. It is in the "sensationalist!" segment. They did, of course, not go public to furries about wanting to interview us, but found two furs who felt they could represent the entire fandom.
It goes as it must go. The front page has the somewhat loosely translated title "AniMal placed love - Furries & Bestiality " (where the first word was a combo of malplaced (misplaced) and animal...).
It has created great disturbance in the furce in Norway.
The article was online, but it appears to have been taken down now. Though, whatever damage is done, is done. Fortunately, not too many people take this magazine seriously. But it upsets me that some furries feel they should take it on themselves to represent the fandom, specially furs who have not been around very long.

Furry Interview in "Natt og Dag", not a good impression.
"Natt and Dag" is a free, paid-by-ads newspaper in Norway, distributed in stores and pubs and stuff. It is in the "sensationalist!" segment. They did, of course, not go public to furries about wanting to interview us, but found two furs who felt they could represent the entire fandom.
It goes as it must go. The front page has the somewhat loosely translated title "AniMal placed love - Furries & Bestiality " (where the first word was a combo of malplaced (misplaced) and animal...).
It has created great disturbance in the furce in Norway.
The article was online, but it appears to have been taken down now. Though, whatever damage is done, is done. Fortunately, not too many people take this magazine seriously. The Infamous “Eagle Cam” of Iowa

Thousands upon thousands of people have turned to their webcams in order to broadcast various areas of interest. Sporting events, political rallies and meetings, various rants and personal views, and traffic updates are just a few of the most popular. Recently, a new trend has surfaced that has many people watching their computers for hours on end. Web cameras positioned just above the nests of Bald Eagles, commonly referred to as, “Eagle Cams.”
Following in the footsteps of the immensely popular “Puppy Cam” from 2008, the “Eagle Cam” boasts a much more masculine and patriotic approach to nature watching. The Raptor Research Project in Decorah, Iowa placed their hidden webcam 80 feet above the ground in late February. The family of Bald Eagles laid three eggs in their nest on February 23rd. Rapidly gaining popularity, the website gained hundreds of loyal viewers in little more than a few days. For the entire month of March, the two parent eagles kept watch over their eggs, incubating them and protecting them.
On April 1st, the first egg hatched and produced a healthy Bald Eagle chick. The reputation for the “Eagle Cam” soared almost overnight. Almost 100,000 viewers tuned in to watch the new-born baby chick and wait for the other eggs to hatch. The Research Project’s website crashed due to the massive amounts of attention. Three days later, the second egg hatched – again producing a healthy chick. Finally, on April 7th, the world let out a sigh of relief as the third and final egg hatched.
The webcast consists entirely of a view of the nest and its occupants. The chicks can be seen chasing each other and playing around inside the 1 ½ ton home. Routinely, the parent eagles will depart in search of food. However, one parent eagle always remains with the children. The parent eagles then will, much to the amazement of the viewing audience, feed and preen their chicks.
The Iowa “Eagle Cam” has achieved critical and world-wide acclaim. Nearly 11 million people have watched the webcast since it began. At any given moment, roughly 130,000 people are viewing. NBC’s Today Show even featured a segment on the “Eagle Cam” during its normal morning lineup. Donations are even being taken for the Raptor Research Project Decorah on 3rd party websites.
Besides the webcast in Iowa, several other “Eagle Cams” have been posted from different stats; yet none of them have achieved the popularity of the Iowa Bald Eagles. One such webcast took place in rural West Virginia during late March. Unfortunately, none of the eggs hatched. This was caused by the original nest having been taken over by two different Bald Eagles and the original parents fleeing the scene.
