Allright, I admit it. I’m a sucker for any modern day use of Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes characters. Here’s Bugs and Daffy at the White House yesterday. No birth certificates required…

In other news, the GID is up today after some comments on a porn website, bumped the already over exaggerated thumbnail to the top of the list, causing a massive Gideon tag surge. Investors still continue for their goals, hopefully not over 5 feet for this month.

I’m always willing to offer a helping hoof to any on the community and especially ones that are in the same realm as Bronyville. Equestria Daily ran a news article a few days back about the Diamond Dogs Podcast. Going to give those guys the customary first listen and the ED patrions seem to agree that the second episode is better. Here’s to hoping the same for us.
Oh, and DD guys. We’re the Big Macintosh to your Applejack. We did post several days before you. Just sayin’.

The next project for Anthony Bell (director of last year’s Alpha and Omega) is an animated film called Norm of the North. It stars Rob Schneider (Deuce Bigalow, Male Gigolo) as the voice of Norm, a polar bear who (along with his lemming friends) ends up in New York City, “where Norm becomes the mascot of a corporation he soon learns is tied to the fate of his homeland”. The writers, Daniel and Steven Altiere, have previously written several furry-themed direct-to-video sequels, including Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins and Dr. Dolittle: Million Dollar Mutts. Now in post-production, Norm of the North is set for release by Lionsgate Films in 2012.
Furrit, How would you describe furry culture to people who think furries are just people who have sex in animal suits?
I'm coming out as a furry to my friends and I'm honestly having a hard time describing what the furry culture is, beyond fursuits and sex. I'd really appreciate some advice, maybe some stories of your own, or anything else that would help me explain the culture better. Thank you much.

Toonces reads “Chitchester Gap” by Sedric & Skip reads “Vignette from the Highway” by Lycanthromancer
Author: toonces
The term fantasy is flexible. A person can fantasize about an ice cream cone or about an alien landscape, something anywhere between arm’s reach and infinite light years away. It can refer to something as benign as the elusive or as striking as the impossible. Sedric‘s “Chitchester Gap” attempts to bridge the two in a compact, pulpy package featuring doppelgangers getting it on in a library and defiling a piece of classic literature. Characteristically short, we felt the story worked best with a companion to add a little meat for our commuting readers. So Skip is also reading for us “Vignette of the Highway” by Lycanthromancer.
