hey r/furry, think you can help me come up with a cool fursona?
i've been a furry for years, but i've never been that into it until now. never had a furaffinity account, a fursona, anything really. in fact, it wasn't untill a week ago that i found r/furry, but since then i've really wanted to get more involved with the fandom. kinda rediscovered my love for furries here (and then some.) :D any suggestions for cool fursonas? i have a vauge outline for traits, but not sure on anything specific...

Fox sighting
I just wanted to share this with people who would appreciate it. This morning I saw a big beautiful red fox on my parents' land. It was in full winter coat and looked so healthy and happy.
This Texas draught has been so disheartening it was good to see some creatures are still thriving.
Wish I could have gotten a picture for you guys. My parents have a motion camera that we're going to set up so if we catch him I'll be sure to upload!

Hi gang.
There’s going to be a short delay on the final Episode. I’ve still got to sort out one or two things with Bacon Quest before I can post it. But just so we can line up the dates properly we’re posting this little info snippet for those of you wanting to order shirts.
Firstly, the new cut off date is the Wednesday the 7th of December. Any orders placed after that will have to wait until the next print run.
Secondly, those of you who are wanting to pick-up a shirt at MidFur and haven’t ordered, there appears to have been some confusion on how to void the postage. You still need to include your address in-case you don’t show etc etc. But to void the postage costs you need to place ‘Midfur13‘ in the coupon code section. Your postage will still be calculated, but will be taken off the total amount at the end. Easy.

The Dragons are sad…
Word has come out of Ireland that Anne McCaffrey, one of the grande dames of science fiction writing, passed away on November 21st after suffering a stroke at her home. She was 85. Ms. McCaffrey was of course best known for her Dragonriders of Pern series, likely the first science fiction stories to treat dragons as serious characters. Not to mention telepathic dragons who shared everything, even their love lives, with their human riders! But furry fans should also know Ms. McCaffrey for her Decision at Doona series, which featured humans interacting with the cat-like Hrubban species. On a personal note, your humble ed-otter had the honor of visiting Ms. McCaffrey at her home in County Wicklow, Ireland, in 1996. One of the great ones has left us. Read her obituary here from the Los Angeles Times.

Review: ‘Happy Feet Two’ Should Have Been About Krill
Author: crossaffliction
There’s a long tradition of horror stories set in Antarctica. H. P. Lovecraft set In the Mountains of Madness in the white continent, featuring a race of giant cave-dwelling albino penguins who shrieked “Tekelili!” over and over.
Happy Feet Two continues the tradition of Antarctic penguins repetitively crying out horrific noises. Instead of shout-outs to Edgar Allan Poe, however, these penguins cry out dated pop songs. The horror, the horror.
