Knightingail
Another new discovery from WonderCon: “Knightingail: The Legend Begins is a 6-issue fantasy, adventure mini-series that tells the story of how a Forester, teenage princess named Eloa is transformed into a mystical powered warrior princess named Knightingail. Knightingail has the ability to control the forces of nature and heal living creatures. She must re-unite the 7-tribes of her homeland to fight off a massive invasion force.” Those 7 tribes include various anthropomorphic species as well — check out the character of Kaeli Hunter from the cover of issue #4, below! The series is created written, and published by Wayne Gardiner and penciled by Tina Francisco. Various artists helped out with the inking, coloring, and covers. You can find out more about all of this (including a new package offer for the whole 6-issue series) at the Knightingail web site, hosted by Knightingail herself.

Why are furries so touchy feely?!
I've been in the furry fandom for a long while, but something that has always really bugged me is how touchy feely people are straight from the get-go. I mean in internet gatherings, not in the real world. For example, a good majority of furs that I meet in SL seem to immediately type things like "/me nudges my nose against yours, wanting to cuddle" or something to that extent when all I said was hello, how are you? It makes me instantly not want to talk to people because that's just downright awkward, especially when I have listed 'taken' on my profile. This happens in other communities as well.. MyFur Network, SoFurry.. all people need is a hello and they are already trying to cuddle me. Wut gives? (This is a totally 100% serious post by the way, maybe I don't understand the furry customs, but there is something so not-ok when I feel like I have to explain something on my computer screen to my fiance because he walks in the room and sees "/me tugs on your tail, pulling you close" on my screen from some random guy that I just said hello, how are you? to, ughhh. wtfff) Am I just in the wrong sort of places? I only go into general places on SL and never to any yiff websites or SL places.

Commissions to help a friend
So much thanks to all those who quietly helped! You saved Kala's life and she is thrilled to be home!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ocf-8McVdBE&feature=youtu.be
Sorry to give a sob story but I can't stand to see a dog put down because the owner can't afford the rescue fee.
I'm doing stylized character commissions for $1 each to help raise money to save Sabre Wolf's puppy.
If you want something different just pm me for prices and details. I will do anything G or PG rated.
All the money from this batch will go to Sabre to rescue his dog from the pound before she is euthenized.
Here's my DA for contact information

… But Unicorns are still Pretty Neat Too
Speaking of Immedium, they’re also the home of Billie the Unicorn, written and illustrated by Brianne Drouhard. “The young unicorn Billie seeks adventure, so her forest cousins show her how to grow delightful flowers. But the legend of a castle which holds the most beautiful garden lures her away! Will Billie discover that friendship matters the most?” The publisher also continues: “Colorful marker illustrations of expressive characters, upbeat storytelling, and a positive message of seeking your bliss will charm kids who enjoy animation and adults who appreciate great character design.” You can visit Billie’s very own web site to find out more, buy your own copy of the book , and even check out the Billie the Unicorn interactive story app for the iPad and iPhone.
