So I want a fursuit.
Here's the thing though, and I know this is a tall order. Basically those huge toony mascot like suits are unsatisfactory to me, since it feels like you're in a costume. Is it possible to get something like a fully covering -arms, legs, everything but the head- body stocking with fingers and toes and make a fur "skin" over top of it to truly form fit the body? I want something that I could look down at and, if the fur was realistic, be able to believe it was my body. So who would I ask to get something like this, or would I need to do it myself? Is it even possible?

Drew this. A few minutes of coloring, and several hours trying to get the shading right. Fuck shading.

Episode 176 - Friendship With Benefits
Off to Meet the Wild Things
Your ever-lovin’ ed-otter was taking a work-related trip to Nashville, TN for a few days. Now it’s time to get caught up…
The literary world (heck, the world in general) was saddened recently by the death of Maurice Sendak on May 8th at the age of 83. By far he was best known as the writer and illustrator of Where the Wild Things Are, which revolutionized what a “children’s book” could be — and gave us all some cool monsters to befriend — when it was first published in 1963. But that is far from Mr. Sendak’s only legacy to Furry Fandom. Prior to Wild Things he was the illustrator of the Little Bear books by Else Holmelund Minarik. (Nelvana used his Little Bear designs when they created the animated Little Bear TV series and feature film in the late 1990′s.) In the 1980′s Mr. Sendak was often hired to be a production, costume, and art designer for East Coast opera productions, including the 1981 production of The Cunning Little Vixen by Leos Janacek — possibly the most anthropomorphic opera ever, and certainly the most anthropomorphic thing on stage before Cats came along. Most recently, Maurice Sendak had his works translated for the big and little screen: Where the Wild Things Are was adapted into a feature film by Spike Jonze in 2009, and that same year Sendak’s short story Higglety Pigglety Pop was adapted into a short film (starring the voice of Meryl Streep) using a combination of live-action and puppetry. If you want to find out more about Mr. Sendak’s wide body of work, check out his Wikipedia page. But be warned: There are Wild Things there.
A long boarding fursuiter at our meet today
Would an r/furry Redditgifts exchange be a good idea?
Redditgifts is a lot of fun, and I've been trying to decide if it would turn out to be really cool, or a horrible abomination. What do you guys think?

How to come out....as a fur
I've been openly gay for about four years now and have had my share of boyfriends since then. I've never really been serious about any relationship so I just never mentioned anything about me being a furry.
But recently I started dating this guy...http://redd.it/tfxcq (for the full story if ya want it)......and I can see something happening with it. So any advice on how to tell him I'm a fur?

You’re one in a couple hundred!
Well if you’re an artist you might be into this or NOT. AC2012 turns up the heat on the Artist’s alley this year with a lottery drawing for seats. So if you ARE an artist and want in this year to the biggest con around you can get a good chance. In a way this helps out the smaller artists to get better known. However, those artists who are bigger (more customers) see this as bad concept. What do you think?
