Time to put your nose to the grindstone, listeners! Furballd 68 is here with the tips and tricks everyone needs to survive University…or College if you’re in America. We talk about some money-saving tips, how to survive an over-night study session and how to manage your study time.
Sadly, the last 10 mins or so of our discussion was cut short by Ringo’s first recording screw-up. Congrats to him on losing his podcast-derp virginity, though!
In the news this week: We finally talk about the King copyright saga that’s been circulating around the gaming community, Australia censors South Park: The Stick of Truth, and the Harry Potter MMO that never will be.
Next episode is number 69, folks! Will we do the fabled porn/kinks/sex episode? Or will we just talk about something stupid like…how much we love 69 chocolate lava cakes in a room? Well, that’s up to you to guess isn’t it?
If you want to take a bet on it, why not send us in an e-mail on what YOU think we’re going to talk about? If you get it right, awesome! If you don’t get it right, hilarity and awesome times will be had reading it out on the show! Just send your e-mail to furballdletters@gmail.com!
Bye for now, but not forever!
This week’s song is “Gotta Go Faster” by Tuberz McGee. You can find the song on OCRemix here.

Cat Boy Partial Unbagging
About 3 months, or so ago, I commissioned a, what I am terming, cat boy partial. This basically consists of paws, ears and a tail that came off of a drawing that an artist friend of mine did.
Yesterday, I received the set, and was /amazed/ at the paws. The original goal for the paws was for them to be as slim as possible, and allow as much dexterity as possible. I wanted to realistically be able to wear them day to day, if I so chose, and still be able to handle keys, drinks, pens etc etc. Well, after 50-60 hours of hand sewing...they meet all those requirements.
The unbagging (Everything came in the bag 'o fur) can be found here and all the contact info for everyone involved can be found in the comments of the video.
The reason I did this video is because the paws are so compact, and allow so much movement that a picture cannot do them justice.

I need a good recommendation for a reference.
So I've been part of the fandom for a couple years now, and I've had a 'sona since pretty much the start, but recently I've been realizing more and more how useful a good reference sheet is. The problem is, I can't seem to find anyone who is good at drawing Avians without breaking the bank on the commission.
I've looked at Home's work on FA, and I really like it, but he's just too expensive for me, but I honestly need someone of his skill just cheaper. If any of you know of anybody who can do that (price range 15$ and under) I'd be very thankful.

$950. God dayum that's the highest bid on anything I've ever seen.

From Peru to London… to the Movie Screen
Head out to the movies lately and you’re likely to see the teaser trailer for the new live-action film Paddington — featuring a world-famous little bear in a blue overcoat and a floppy brown hat. For those not familiar with the star of Michael Bond’s beloved series of children’s books (started in 1958), Paddington is a small, human-speaking bear who travels from the wilds of Peru to England — where he hooks up with a nurturing human family, who name him after the train station where they found him. Paddington has appeared in TV series before (both animated and puppetry), but this is his first feature film. It’s produced by David Heyman (who produced all eight Harry Potter films), and written and directed by Paul King, best known for Britain’s The Mighty Boosh (which, you may recall, had its own fair share of furry content). The movie adaptation stars Colin Firth as the voice of the CGI little ursine star. Check out the article at Yahoo Movies to find out more — and see the trailer. The film comes to theaters in North America this December.
What made you join the fandom?
Long stories welcome!
Edit: Wow, guys. Thanks for the replies. It's so cool to see others' insight on this.

Looking for someone to roleplay with.
I really like to roleplay but everyone who has added me for it is never online. So I'm looking for someone to do rps with. That also have skype and are pretty open to some different story ideas. Please ;D

Hey, what would you guys think about a /r/furry TF2 competitive team?
I posted a discussion about this on the Steam group, but no one seemed to read it.
Hey /r/furry, what would you guys think of a competitive TF2 team for over the summer? I'll take the responsibility of running it, unless someone else wants to help me out. It'll be North American, part of the UGC league, and the actual competitive season won't take place until the Summer.
I'm gonna plan on Highlander 9v9. We'll need 9 players, one to represent each class, and some substitutes. I'll take sub Pyro.
As for a name, I was thinking the "Furcenaries", unless someone has already taken that.
Add me on Steam if you're interested. I'm usually online 3pm-6pm and 9pm-12am EST most nights. I'll get a group together once a get a couple people to sign on.
If you're new to competitive TF2, I encourage you to join. It's a ton of fun and a great way to meet some new furs.
OPEN CLASSES:
- Scout
- Soldier
- Demoman
- Heavy
- Engineer
- Spy
And subs, of course!

Any Osu! Furs out there?
I'm curious to see just how many furs out there play Osu! I'd like to play with some others out there. Ranking doesn't matter to me, I just like to have fun. :3 If you're good, give me a challenge, if you're not, we can all get some practice. :D
For those who don't know what Osu! is: http://osu.ppy.sh/ It's a rhythm game that involves the use of a combination of the keyboard and/or a tablet/mouse. The site above has more details about it (as it is the main site for Osu!)
