I'm looking at getting a partial suit made, I would like some help figuring out who to go with. I've got a decent budget for this and any help would be awesome. I've looked at theroyalbanana and their ladder commissions look good.

i have been a brony for over a year now, but have also just recently started to get into the furry stuff, i keep hearing about fursona's and decided to start on mine. and i am unsure whether to go with

a wolf

a fox

a cat

i am more leaning towards fox and wolf but am unsure how to choose, please help me decide

As we get closer to the summertime release of Marvel Comics’ Guardians of the Galaxy movie, we’re likely to see more and more of Rocket Raccoon — and his buddy Groot, the anthropomorphic tree. Next up: Marvel’s “first in-house original prose novel”, Rocket Raccoon and Groot Steal the Galaxy by Dan Abnett — one of the original creators of Guardians of the Galaxy in 2008. “Rocket Raccoon and the faithful Groot are the baddest heroes in the cosmos, and they’re on the run across the Marvel Universe! Lately, I've found myself unreasonably hesitant about speaking up around here. So I figured why not ask around for ways to "break the ice", and get conversations started for other new furries who might be too nervous to make that first step into the fandom? What's not to like about finding common ground with others, after all? (And if this has already been done, I'll gladly take it down.)

It's not like I'm just nervous about going to my first fur meet soon or anything like that.

I've noticed people have very different responses to this question and I was wondering curious as to the different methods people approach this with.

A lot have picked it as a spur of the moment thing with an animal they like, some have put a lot of effort into identifying traits they share with certain animals and deciding from there. Some see their fursona as an extension of their own experiences and personality, others create intricate backstories and histories for their characters and adopt different personalities for them.

Furfunding Week in Review 4-14-14

This week’s illustration is from the Kickstarter for the video game, RATS: Running out of Time!

A modest collection of new projects, though from what I’ve seen on Twitter, discussion is dominated by Armello, which is halfway to goal–can they make it, or is this the next high-profile furry crowdfunding fumble? Time will tell, but they’re off to an amazing start, with good marketing within and outside the fandom.

In my experience, I have absolutely no ability to “pick ‘em.” But it really does look like a nice product…

Remember Zork? I'm a beginning programmer and I'm developing a similar game as a pastime/learning project.

I'm starting from scratch, but I really want to make it enjoyable. So if any of you have a world scenario or character or something you'd like to see in action, comment, and maybe you'll be playing it.

All ideas and questions are welcome!

A world without compass-based directions. A lot of the character design would be based on the world, so that's my first priority-- but I'll still work in just about anything if I like the idea. The main thing I want to strive for is the sense of discovery, so a large world is a given. There'll be a large level of interaction with characters, both friendly and not.

Some weren't sure what I was looking for, I wasn't too sure either. The main story is still in the works. But I've gotten a lot of ideas and I'll be adding in lots of characters, side-quests, items, you name it, to have some fun and add a little foreign content to the game. Credit will be given, though I'm sure the game won't become widely known.
