Introducing myself to the community!
Hello, everyone! You can call me sharkopod or Shappo. It's very nice meet you. I hope we get along.
I'm a 17 year old girl who has been a furry in private since I was 13, but all these I've been pretty much just lurking when it comes to the online community. A while back I finally decided that enough is enough. It's time to conquer my fears about everyone instantly hating me and start being more vocal here and in other furry hangouts.
Oh, I love to draw, so expect seeing some art posts from me in the future. I also like to make new friends, so don't hesitate to message me.
Aaaand... That's about it. I should probably think of something clever to say to wrap this up, but nothing in particular comes to mind. See you around!

Art from Oregon
Here’s how this artist describes himself: “Matt Doering is an Illustrator/Concept Artist based in Eugene, Oregon currently working as a Production Artist and UI Designer at Disney Interactive for mobile and social games. Matt also works as a freelance illustrator, most recently completing his first children’s book The Story of Magic Kringle, written and created by Alice Cosgrove.” His web site also has numerous examples of his character design work, as well as some of the animation he’s worked on. Of note: Matt did color design and visual development on The Girl and the Fox, an award-winner short animated film written and directed by Tyler J. Kupferer.
Trying to art my way to FAU. Commissions anyone?

Furfunding Week in Review 5-26-14
This week’s illustration is from the Kickstarter campaign for the Sherlock-inspired anthro card deck, The Game Is On.
I have a theory that any project coming back for a second round of crowdfunding is just doomed to failure. In the year that I’ve been looking at kickstarters, all the “try-agains!” seem to tank. Even if the wallets of the crowd pledged $15K before, they’re not necessarily going to give you the $15K again, the energy isn’t necessarily there, and the sell isn’t as compelling.
That being said, there’s the smallest chance that Beast’s Fury will prove me wrong…kind of. Their funding campaign was a success in the “let’s bring in some money” sense of the word success, but it landed a far cry from what was necessary to release the game itself. Now they’re pitching a second wave of funding, and have a good start with about 25% of their goal met in the first two days. Curious to see how they trend.
Reviews this weekcycle: The whimsical “Matlock the Hare,” a little wizard in green robes. I like it when I don’t have to tweak the balance and hue of a character to get him to fit my color palate.

Books/PrintBi-Curious George (Ends: 6/18/2014)
“One day George saw a man. He had on a sassy purple beret. And George got very excited, despite himself.”
Hmm…the video hypes the success of the book in its previous press run, but only two funders right this second :(
Matlock the Hare and the Tillian Wand (Ends: 6/24/2014)
Whimsical wizard rabbit–ah, hare–and his 500 (!) page YA illustrated adventure!
Wacky, wacky vocabulary throughout. I think making up ludicrous words is a British thing.
Guy Fox’s Paris Children’s Map (Ends: 6/20/2014)
Guy Fox, the travelling vulpine, wanders the world–this time Paris–looking for fun landmarks and locations for kids.
TMNT Banished (Ends: 7/4/2014)
A darker version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with themes of violence and betrayal.
It doesn’t look like this one is going anywhere.
The Game is On! (Ends: 6/19/2014)
Anthro Sherlock Holmes inspired characters in a new art-card deck!
Otter Sherlock and Fox Mycroft for the win!
Keep Beast’s Fury Going! (Ends: 6/19/2014)
A return to crowdfunding for the Beast’s Fury anthro fighting game.
I’m amazed that it’s doing so well for round two! But Beast’s Fury has a good fan base for a game that hasn’t hit the shelves yet. Do games even hit shelves anymore?
Puppy Pride tails (Ends: 7/7/2014)
PuppyPride comes back with a range of somewhat suggestive tees, dogtags, and tails. A hint about the tails: they don’t attach to your belt. Just saying.
Irongut’s Patches of Gray (Patreon open-ended funding)
Irongut‘s illustrated erotica novels, very orca-intensive stuff!
Monster Anthology V. II Demon Edition (Ends: 6/24/2014): An illustrated, NSFW OR SFW anthology–take your pick–about love and relationships and demons. By Darkchibishadow.
…CausesGlobal White Lion Protection Trust (Ends: 7/2/2014): Get involved with an effort to protect white lions. All lions, really, but focusing on the white lion.
…Just for funAlive Animals (Ends: 6/19/2014): Absurd Chinese Zodiac “augmented reality phone app. The tee shirts are actually more interesting than the AR horse’s head…

I'm looking for someone to commission fursuit feet paws and hand paws...
I'm making a fursuit, however every fursuit before this that I've made has been 'meh' in the paw department.
I'm hoping to find a fellow redditor that I can do a commission/trade with for a set of hand paws and feet paws.
If there is anyone who can (or you know who can) trade this for $20 on PayPal and ~$80 of commissions from me, let me know c:

Hosting the most epic furry party ever, need help for programming!
Heya folksies,
I'm turning 30 next year so of course that means I again have a reason to throw a party and invite everyone to parttyyyyyy!
Going to rent a private island, have an open bar, nice food, you know the deal. There's a sauna, lots of room to goof around in suits/kigus etc.
But the problem is, what would be amazing furry (or non furry) activities to do? I'm going to rent the biggest bounce house I can find, but otherwise I'm out of ideas!

Looking for a GM for a adventure trough kik
Hi fellows furs, me and a friend are looking for a RPG master (with experience would be good but is not mandatory) to try and make an adult adventure for me, her and some more fellows furs (later players). We want it to be hosted in kik (since mobility, stability and both me and she can be on there almost all day) and it doesnt need to have a system (d&d, GURPS, Storyteller, and others, just a simple little one).
What we are wanting is an adventure that occurs in the acient japan, with gods, onis (demons), heroes and more. We have some more things that need to be discussed with the GM.
You can find my in kik by vulpih, you can pm me here for more informations or you can answer here too. Also, no players requests right now, at the moment looking for a GM, later, when we have a GM, we open for some more players.

So I'm just curious: Who has the most watchers but with just stories Alone?
So I'm just curious, what people on FA have a high amount of watchers but only by just writing stories?

Who's your favorite fursuit maker?
This probably exists already but which fursuit maker(s) do you like the most and why? This can refer to price, style, efficiency, etc. I'd just like to see community favorites! (This probably is more suited for the fursuit subreddit but idk)
