I want to know what some habits that you do in public or secrecy that bring you closer to your animal/fursona/mythical creature/character. Constantly lick your lips like a dragon? Flex your ears as an alert rabbit would? Curl in a ball to find your comfort spot? Make low grumbling noises when displeased?

My biggest habit is walking barefooted a lot which gives me the chance to walk digitigrade. My biggest secret is eating raw meat whenever I'm alone to prepare dinner by that I'm not saying eating a whole raw steak on my own-- I might snatch a peice of uncooked bacon therefore I will eat sushi any chance I get. Yes, I understand the dangers of bacteria and parasites that lurk in raw meat but I have done this more than once and have never been sick.

The point of this post to investigate how the people of /r/ furry are once alone. So please leave the judgement out of this and pick up a point of view.

Edit: It's nice to see this thread is getting alot of attention despite the karma. Please keep sharing.

Edit 2.0: This post extends out to mythical creatures, hybrids, and etc. Not just real wild animals!

Why are e621 people so rude and mean? They take your art and upload it on there, then when you say something, they attack you like you are out of line for doing so! This has happened to me 3 times now with my lioness character. Every time I asked to have it taken down, I received a note from the uploader that I was an asshole or a baby.

edit:Ok people are getting the wrong view of this. What I mean by this post Is I do fill out the take down forms, However, the people who uploaded the image find out it was taken down and have noted me on FA, at least in the 3 cases in which I did this.

There's been a HUGE increase in the number of NSFW posts, discussions, and commissions in /r/furry. Either we find a new subreddit home for this stuff, or we'll have spend a helluva lot more time convincing our friends that we aren't crazy sex pervs.

It’s written by Jeff Parker and illustrated by Paco Rodriques. “Angry Birds is based on the wildly popular mobile game by Rovio in which less-than-pleased birds launch all-out attacks on nefarious porkers. So I've always thought that being a furry was cool, even before I knew what it was. I only discovered the online furry community a few months ago and I love it. However, the person I'm with (which I love with all my heart) hates furries. Any advice how to break it to him gently? I know he wouldn't hide things from me, so I don't want to hide this from him.

I'm looking to contact people within the Portland and the Seattle area furry groups. I'd like to know more about the area, the furry community there, etc.

Anyone that visits here have that info? Yeah, I could google it, but not everything is easy to find through google, and the higher results aren't always the active communities. :3 Thanks.
