What does being a furry mean to you?
For me, it saved my life. I felt so out of place with other people, until I found real friends after starting hanging around on IRC and going to meetups and cons. I'm a full-blown furry now and am so happy with my life now.
It's amazing how tolerant other furries ars and I just love how, with most furries I've met, you can talk on pretty much any subject. Being goofy and doing maybe a bit childish stuff is so amazing especially you have like-minded fellows around you.

Needing a place to stay.
I know I have not done much posting here, if at all, and I was hoping to get help with the situation that has recently come to light. The family I am staying with is facing foreclosure on their house, I learned of this from the mother today. They do not know how long they have, it could be anywhere from thirty days to longer. I have been job hunting ever since I have gotten here, with little to no avail, I have also been doing what I can do to help around the house here and have made it a point to not impact this family as much as possible, in terms of needing to purchase extra food and the like. In short, I am looking for a place to stay, please, I have already started contacting friends and have contacted FA Lend a Hand to see if they knew anyone nearby that I could live with, I need help.

Edit: Update, I've yet to find anything solid, though I am getting pretty sound advice from friends in regards to jobfinding, which will be a plus when a new place to live is secured, please, if anyone knows of anyone in the east NJ, west PA area who is able to house someone, please let me know, I will also enlist the help of the father to drive me to the new place to live, he will most likely agree to assist. I will keep a constant update daily, again, thank you for your support.
