I've been lurking around the interwebs for the past few months trying to come across a furry group in/around STL Missouri, but alas I have found nothing. I have a two part question:

1. Can one of you greybeards or more experienced members in the area create a group on Meetup.com?

Throwaway so I don't really care what I say. I was just wondering if there are any furries that are similar to me. I consider myself a furry, although I don't have a suit and have no desire to get one, and I don't tell people I actually know that I'm a furry. But the thing is, I've noticed almost every furry I've ever seen/met has been kind of an awkward weird-ish person. Since I'm on a throwaway, I have no reason to lie.

I'm in high school, I'm a two sport varsity athlete on state champion teams(Lacrosse and Soccer, not like track or some shit), I'm generally regarded as attractive(male), and I have plenty of friends. I get good grades I'm popular with girls and my most of my school. I come off as a completely normal, well-adjusted person and nobody would even guess that I was a furry. But people don't know that I also watch a lot of anime and play a fuckton of video games.

I'm probably coming off as an asshole, but I'm genuinely curious if there is anybody like me in the fandom. Please don't lie, I actually want to know.
