Favorite DA-artists?
Due to family reasons, I can no longer use FA. so, I ask, who are your favorite artists on deviantART? I honestly have a very hard finding good artists there much unlike furaffinity where somehow it's just a gol mine of quality content.

Furfunding Week in Review: 8-17-14
This week’s illustration is from Roo’s Chibi Character Sheet.
This is a silly little thing, but today I noticed that you can “feature” a pledge level in Indiegogo. Neat! I first stumbled across this in Mordrude’s Monster Manual. Now, normally, the prices and pledges are organized from, you know, the $1 “because you love us (expect NOTHING for your love) down to $27,000 “The creator will donate a kidney to save your child’s life.” But it’s easy to lose the, you know, $45 package that’s the meat-and-potatoes level.
With this bit of functionality, you can shove the feature price up to the top! Nifty :) A really clever little bit of usefulness, there!
Anyway, lots of projects this “week” considering I updated everything last Wednesday…
Reviews this week: Returning to the world of “FERAL” with Dr Dubz, and Mordred’s Monster Manual.
.
For a “complete” list of furry/fur-friendly crowdfunding projects, check out the Project Page and Patreon Page! New Projects ArtRoo’s DIY Character Concept Sheet (Ends: 9/9/2014)
Chibi character references and designs by MonsterRoo
MegaFauna (Ends: 9/9/2014)
A comic anthology about wild animals, pets and monsters. Not terribly furry, but interesting theme.
Owlgirls #2 (Ends: 9/22/2014)
A return of four creepy avian anthro detectives. Hard to explain.
I was amazed to see Owlgirls #1 at my local comic shop, but my local comic shop spends nearly as much time on Kickstarter as I do.
Feral: Part 2 (Ends: 9/27/2014)
DrDubz’s furry action manga returns for a second round of gritty, urban brutality. Already at goal!
Tricera Hi-Tops (Ends: 9/11/2014)
According to the project page, “solving society’s problem of a lack of wearable dinosaurs.”
Weirdly, this one’s nearly at goal.
Bronies! The Musical (Ends: 9/9/2014)
What can I say that isn’t summarized right there in the title?!
Super Fantastic Jurassick Parkour 4 (Ends: 9/12/2014)
Animation: the adventures of four anthro saurians.
Some projects I include because they’re funny, not because they’re going to succeed. Rather the opposite.
Monkey Horse Cop: Puppets with Guns (Ends: 9/21/2014)
I can’t explain this one. There’s a monkey and a horse and they’re made of foam and fluff.
Bad Decisions (Ends: 11/21/2014): A party game of, well, bad decisions, by Ian Price, who Kickstarted Kitsune: Foxes and Fools last year.
What’s Corbeau Backing This Week?
Wondering if I can get enough pennies together to back “FERAL!”
Bisexual Uncertainty
Hey all. I'm a Bisexual fox. I have a great love and passion for men, finding the way they look and smell and taste and laugh absolutely adorable. I understand men because I am one, and know how to pleasure them. Men are absolutely beautiful a d j am proud of the fact that I think that. ...but now suddenly I find myself in a "straight" relationship. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore her, and she is the cutest girl on earth! I'm finding I'm much more attracted to girls than I thought but... Something keeps gnawing at me. Is this the right thing? Should I continue this relationship with this beautiful female feline before it gets too deep and hurts the both of us, because my passions lie so much stronger with males? And what happens to my love of males.... All my cute gay furry stuff, my fashion sense, the posters on my wall and backgrounds on my phone are all proudly male-male and it was this core part of my identity that I feel I may be loosing the right to proclaim. Its not that I want attention for being gay either, but I don't want a mundane life. No one looks odd at me when I'm with her, none of my straight friends ever make those "Hemms you're super gay" jokes anymore, and when I throw her on the back of my motorcycle I don't feel like its something unusual. I don't feel scared to kiss her or cuddle her in public. I'm seeing life from the other side of the fence and it seems too easy. Too normal and mundane and accepted. So in addition to loosing my core identity I feel like a bit of a traitor to gay men everywhere for having it so easily suddenly. I feel like I'm nothing special anymore. Like I'm just another guy with another girl who goes on dates and holds hands and stuff.
What happens if this relationship goes deep? I'm afraid my gay side will have to be put in a box and I will loose the right to say "I like men and I'm proud!"
I'm not unhappy with her. I love every minute I'm with her and every little female noise she makes! But... Am I happy with myself?
Other Bisexuals of /r/Furry, what have you done in this circumstance? What would you advise I do?

Free art, come on down!
Hey guys, I wanted to get some work done over the week so I started this free art thing since I recently got a drawing tablet.. so yeah! Post your refs bellow (visual or written), I will start drawing the art about 12 hours from when this was posted. This might take me 3 days or even 2 weeks, depending on the number of refs and the complexity of the characters!
For my FA click here
I'll try to do my best, and I wish you guys luck! :D
I developed a new shading technique and I was thinking of some portraits and maybe a couple of simple poses.

I drew my friend Albi in a stream last night!
Do you think that if furries were here instead of humans...
That they would have a fandom for non furry sentient primates such as us?
Edit: Not a super serious question it just popped in my head during breakfast and I thought it would be a interesting topic for conversation.

Free art raffle closed & results!
Hello again furs and friends alike! The raffle I started two days ago has come to a close. I want to thank everybody who participated and showed their support, you guys rock! After assigning each request a number (1-9) and using a random number picker, the winners of the raffle are /u/t3rr0r_f3rr3t (2), /u/Araltum (5), and /u/Gryphon_2 (9). Of those three, /u/t3rr0r_f3rr3t was chosen to have theirs be a full piece! Congratulations! Thanks again to everybody who participated, I hope you had as much fun as I did. I'll post the finished pieces here for everybody to see once they're done.
As a side note, I am currently open for commissions if anybody wants to throw me a bone to get their piece done >w<

Advice for a first time furry
Hey, so I just got into this whole furry thing, is there anything I need to know or any advice that can really help someone for the first time on Reddit AND being a furry? I just wanted to also make this so that people like me can get a basic outline on what they can do first and go from there.
