Entitlement and Do Not Steal
Don't click downvote just yet, hear me out. THEN click the downvote button.
As a matter of fact, I'd prefer you don't downvote at all. Downvoting is for spam, not disagreement.
This can be found in pretty much any fandom which has art and original characters, but I notice it's most prevalent in the furry fandom. It seems there's a lot of furries who make a big stink about things they've created and go ballistic-batshit when they find their art on another site, or enforce required payment for people to use their stuff (species, art, etc). I see often on a lot of pages essentially "THIS IS MINE DO NOT POST ANYWHERE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION/DO NOT POST ANYWHERE OR I WILL BLOCK YOU/DON'T STEAL"
Which is understandable (say, if someone used your art for a RP profile) but I see too many furries flipping their shit (not just "Please ask next time", more like "FUCK YOU DON'T DO THAT" and getting out legal papers) just because say, a Steam profile pic has their art in it, or because they found their art in a 4chan thread. Is it an insecurity thing, with them having something to pride themselves on? I'm a little curious, is all.

She Has a Great Boyfriend but Still Has the Urge to Explore Sex with Women
You guys liked my ZombiDJ stuff? Here's her 'sona, which is a Locotik/Locotic, which she made up.
I don't know if I am a “furry” or not, can you help me?
I think furries are super cute, I don't find them sexual, but enjoy furry art of all kinds. I can appreciate those who go out in costume, but I don't think I could do it myself. I have no artistic talent other than RPing. I consider myself a wolf like being, simply because family matters more to me then anything, and I protect it viciously if need be. I wish I could come up with a “fursona”, but have no one to help me.
Any help would be appreciated, I feel kind of alone, and need some guidance.

The Princess and the Beast
This October Viz Media will release Princess Mononoke: The First Story, “An oversized, lavishly illustrated storybook featuring original watercolor art by legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki. This is the original Princess Mononoke story created by Miyazaki in 1980 while he was first conceptualizing the landmark animated film that would later be released to universal acclaim seventeen years later. As an initial version of the tale, it offers a new and different perspective from the final version presented in the film: After a long, exhausting war, a samurai lost in a forest encounters a giant wildcat – a ‘mononoke’. The beast saves his life, but at the price of his daughter’s hand in marriage… ” Read more about this new hardcover book over at Crunchyroll.
Thinking about furries
Ok I was talking to my friends about what life would be like if everyone were furries.
But something came up, furries would spend a fuck tone on shampoo. Like seriously. I shower a lot (2-3 times a day... Don't judge me) and I go through a bottle every two weeks. But that's only for just a head of Hair. A full body would be like a bottle every 3 days.
Damn furries need money to only buy shampoo.

Meeting Merlin [Short Story - WIP]
I've been motivated to do something lately. When I was young I was obsessed with wizards. I wanted to Meet Merlin. So I decided to start writing a short story. It might be a bit premature for me to write a story, since I don't have any practice... but I figure if there are any glaring issues I have they'll show through this short story... so please critique!
Meeting MerlinUnderneath a proud evergreen I heard a soft voice whisper “Hello?” And I heard it again, a little louder but exactly as gently as the first time. I tried to bring my hands up to my eyes to wipe away the sleep, but my bones were stiff. The voice came again, with a drawn out and sing songy “~Moooooorniiiiiing~.” I opened my eyes and saw a the silhouette of a slim figure kneeling in front of me. Everything was so bright that it seemed like the air glowed. As my eyes struggled to focus they settled on two big green eyes, with a little black nose set between them. I saw a grey, round face and I could sense amusement and concern its lips. “Good MORNING!” he yelped impatiently. “The strange man awakens!” The upward flick of his pitch startled me fully awake, and I became aware of my surroundings. I was laying on cool, damp moss that felt like velvet against my back. Shiny moth fairies fluttered about silently, and troublesome teenage crows chased after them. Massive trees ten men thick dotted the mountainside, punctuated by noble ferns and yellow-blue flowers. I swept my gaze upward, squinting against the blinding sky, and saw two suns. I was in Merlina. “The spell worked.” I said under my breath… but the grey man heard me. “Spell, you say? You’re too young to be a wizard, aren’t you?”
I wasn't a wizard. I’m still not a wizard. I didn't even believe in magic until the moment I arrived in Merlina. All of my efforts were failures. Every initiation, incantation, and invocation in every incarnation produced no results. All except for my very last."
