Image Comics have been proudly announcing their new fantasy graphic novel Hinges, written and illustrated by Meredith McClaren. “This graphic novel introduces the nuts and bolts of a city called Cobble, where one girl new to the city, Orio, must depend on help wherever she can find it. Her assigned familiar, Bauble, has his own agenda however. As the two explore the walls of the city, they find they are not the only new arrivals. ” Her “assigned familiar” appears to be a cat, and Orio herself appears to be… constructed. What does it all mean? Find out when Hinges comes to comic book stores this February. Or, take a read through the interview with the creator over at All-Comic.com.

Hi everyone! I'm kinda new to the fandom and I don't know anyone personally in it, so I thought I'd try posting here. I feel like I always should've been a part of the fandom, but I've got friends that don't exactly see it in the best light, so I kinda denied myself from thinking that I belonged in the fandom. I feel a bit better now that I've stopped lying to myself. I even told one of the naysayers (who I consider a pretty close friend of mine) and he's cool with it. I've been lurking this subreddit for about a week or so now and honestly I'm a little overwhelmed, but I wanna try and meet some new friends.

Okay so I have a name for my main sona but because of... reasons... I created a second sona, he's a dragon, anyways I created his look and somewhat of a background but for the life of me I can't think of a name for him. If you have a spare name or some tips for naming please share them with me. I am not an artist so I can't post a picture of him but I will post my written description.

A proud dragon-morph standing 7'8" tall with shield like scales the color of the sky on a moonless night, his stomach scales are red and the red trails all the way down his crotch and along the bottom of his tail stoping at the nubs at the end of his tail which, when threatened, jut out into sharp spikes for protection. The palms of his hands are a dark gray that are complemented by the well kept claws at the tips of his fingers. Most of these features go unnoticed as the nocturnal predator is more commonly remembered by his glowing golden eyes that pierce the darkness as he soars through the sky on his giant powerful wings, large enough to protectively wrap around him and either his prey or his mate.

P.S. I would love to hear your feedback on my first time creating a dragon.
