Welp, I accepted it. I'm a furry.

I came to this sub and saw all the great art and sense of community, but this sub still just seems to be mostly art. How can I...uh...get started in the furry fandom?

I don't take a queue (organisation? #lolwhatis) and ONLY DO SFW btw (like, don't bother asking for fapmaterial pls) so you gotta be there when I'm not occupied with someone else's request, but you'll have priority if your request isn't completed yet and you have to go.

I have a really shitty mic, so I won't talk, but I love to shitpost in the chat and I just ordered a new mic, so I might try to make dumb canadian comments starting next week (build dat hype yo!)

Ok, I saw the post from yesterday about coming for the porn but staying for the community. For me it was a fetish for years before I even learned there was a community. I've avoided it for the most part but I'm curious about diving in and seeing what it's like. Everyone seems to have a fursona though and I've never even considered it. Should I have one? I don't feel like I have one in me, if that makes sense. I'm just me and I just like furry stuff. If I were to draw something I don't know if I could attach my personality to it. I could maybe come up with a character and list certain traits it has but I don't think I understand myself or people well enough to make it feel like a real personality existed there. Maybe it's because a character isn't interesting until it has a past, present, and future. I love Redrusker's work, Sea Salt is a believable character to me. Maybe I'm just afraid of creating an empty shell of a character that even I can't like.
