Why are some fursonas more common than others?
Usually when I ask someone why they have the fursona they have, they say something along the lines of "I associate well with their behaviors." If that's true, does anyone actually research for an animal they can associate with instead of picking an animal they're familiar with like a fox or wolf?

Don Bluth made concepts for an animated movie called "Canine Detectives" that was canceled, but later used those character likeness in "All Dogs Go To Heaven". (x-movies)
If you could make any celebrity a furry, who'd it be, what animal, and why?
This is only semi-related to the James Goatfield request post, as I'm so curious about what you guys can come up with.

Decided to say hi!
Hey all,
Well, yeah, the title says it all. I've been lurking around for long enough now.
So, let me introduce myself: I'm 18 years old, and I've been a furry for about 6 months. I was introduced to the universe via Twokinds (Well, that's the short version, to not make this post to large) At first I didn't really acknowledge it, but soon I decided that running from it really made no sense, since you guys are just an awesome bunch!
A few of my hobbies: I love reading books and webcomics, playing games, drawing all kinds of stuff (I just started, doing mainly portraits since those tend to be easy) and listening to Queens of the Stone Age and Coldplay. Well, that's basically it. Hugs to everyone!
Also, 6 months in and still straight! Is that a record? :P

Met these two at MCM Birmingham today. Definitely convinced me to making my own fursuit.
My Fursona, Looking for Artist.
I'm broke. Lets just get that out of the way, so no I can't pay anyone... But I have a deep love for seeing people draw up my fur in different styles of art. It doesn't even have to be good, I just love to see all the different styles.
My fur self is rather... unique. Today I finally finished up a drawing of him, front and back, and I will link it below.

He is a mutant of sorts. For the longest time i struggled with trying to figure out WHAT I wanted to be exactly... I loved bats, and sergals, and so many other things... but truth was I felt like they were all the same... nothing stood out about them. While playing around in Second Life with a new avatar I accidentally created something I loved...and I have stuck with it ever since.
His name is Senyin Xander. Senyin is my gamer name, had it since I started playing the original World of Warcraft, before all the expansions.
He is a mutant creature, nothing like him.
There is two spaces in his back where the wings can completely retract inwards, leaving only the far "finger" of the wing sticking out. (As seen on back view)
His toes and fingers have retractable claws, when pulled in looks like a typical paw, but when they claws extend, they extend the point of stretching out all the skin and showing off massive dragon-like claws on a webbed foot, bones/muscle visible on the toes from how tight the skin is stretched. The claws are sharp enough to easily allow him to climb on nearly any surface, even upside down if he can get a good grip.
He does have a flame breath, but not a normal flame. Its acidic, green tinted in appearance, and whenever things catch on "fire" from the flames they melt as if they are being burned by acid.
But the most interesting thing about him... Is he can't stay dead.
Whether a curse or blessing, every time he gets killed he will come back. His body is constantly in a state of regeneration, preventing the able to age. Whenever he is killed, his body will still continue to regenerate. Slowly, but it will. If whatever killed him is severe to the point of missing organs, it could take years, even decades, but eventually he will resurface from the earth to find himself stuck in a place he doesn't know.

Help me draw Kayno! (or post some ideas!!)
So I decided that as cool as Kayno looked as a wolf/dragon hyrbid, wolf was definitely not "me". I always associated myself with leopards as a kid, and dragons and their endless possibilities, but I also feel really close to wild dogs (particularly dholes). So here's the deal:
I want to be a dhole/dragon/leopard hybrid and I need your help! I'm going to be drawing up as many versions of Kayno as I can muster, and your ideas are highly appreciated. I've already come up with a few ideas already, but I'm sure there are some things better than head of a dhole, body of a leopard, horns of a dragon, etc.
So essentially... Yes. I want you guys to help me with my fursona's physical appearance. Markings, body structure, shapes, colors, the whole shebang. I'll post WIP's along the way, but I'd really love your help with ideas. This is the greatest furry community I've ever been a part of and your creativity is motivating.
For any of you that would like to help, a few things from me: I like natural colors against unnatural colors. Like, 70% natural and 30% unnatural. Horns are badass (I can impale my enemies). Rock out with your claws out. Canine/Feline heads are cute. That is all! I look forward to your replies, and I hope a few opinions isn't asking for much :'3

Cub Central set to close after fifteenth year of operation
Anyone here play Awesomenauts?
I mean, with a character like this it seems likely there are a few of you.
I'm not so much as looking for people to play, but rather seeing who does play, and seeing if we need to introduce some folks to it. It's a fun game, pretty casual too. Set up like most mobas (teamfights against another team, taking turrets and killing minions, to get to the other base), but far less committed when you join a game.
I just saw the prices these days....I don't remember the main game being 10 bucks (the DLC for 5 characters including the fox character is another 9). It would be a good game to get during a steam sale.
