Original poll here, a few foxes have been added since 2016, with two new ones coming just this month.
Also, in case you don't really care about the whole Pokémon thing but are really, really into polls and still want to participate, the choices are:
Vulpix/Ninetales, Gen. 1 Fire Types
Zorua/Zoroark, Gen. 5 Dark Types
Fennekin/Braixen/Delphox, Gen. 6 Fire/Psychic Types
Alolan Vulpix/Alolan Ninetales, Gen. 7 Ice/Fairy Types
Nickit/Thievul, Gen. 8 Dark Types
(Sorry, Eevee fans, but once again, this is for Pokémon with the "fox" (or at least Illusion Fox/Monster Fox) species descriptor.)
You might want to double check your links.
But of course ninetales and vulpix are the best. It's a well-known fact that Gen 1 is the best and, although each gen has a few cool pokemon, the quality generally declined.

Like con roomies, nine tails is about three too many - the rest just get in the way and trip you up.
This generation's foxes appear to be literal foxes. In fairness, this is what England has, but still...
Which did you pick?
Braixen all the way!
I'm the only one who voted Zororak? You see Zororak can be whatever pokemon you want them to be, as long as you have the other one present.
Yeah... but they're Evil-type. Do you really want to be evil? Also, you're basically saying they're not good enough as themselves, they have to copy the looks and maybe moves of some other 'mon - that's got to be terrible for their self-image.
So basically it's ditto. Only better looking than ditto but, since its whole power is to not look like itself, it's either a waste of a talent or you might as well just get ditto.

Ditto copies the stats, moves, ability, type(s), and form of its opponent when using the move Transform, unless it has its hidden ability, and retains all these changes even if it takes damage. Zoroark copies only the appearance of one of its trainer's other pokemon, based on team placement and only when it first enters the battle, maintaining the illusion only until taking direct damage. It retains its own stats, typing, moves, etc., but this is hidden from the opponent until the illusion is broken.
You're probably still better off getting a Ditto, but not because it's the same as Ditto.
Pffft, who's talking in-game?

Could also be using Copycat as an egg move from compatible partners to use one of your 'mon's abilities (or theirs, possibly).
Someone apparently brought the Zoroark mob with him ...
I'm a kangaroo, we mob.
