A missing wing doesn't have to keep a dragon down, as shown by CalArts student Toniko Pantoja in this animated short [quymazing]:

At 1:32, Something came to me and it starts with a M.
Also whoever made this animation, it looks pretty fancy and great.
If that wasn't enough dragons for you, here's some more, as well as the artist's original concept drawing and some deer.
If Hayao Miyazaki animated Harold and the Purple Crayon, it might come out something like that.
