1) Register Cheap Until May 31st!
Pre-registration is open NOW, and you can register for a stupid cheap $25 until May 31st! That’s 2 weeks away! So do it NOW and save millions of dollars and precious lives! 2) Want To Run A Panel or Class?
Have a panel or class you want to run? Well, come and lend a paw! We need people to run furry- and/or Halloween/horror-themed panels and classes. Or, tell us what you'd like to see and we'll do everything in our power to bring it to you! To submit your panel, visit http://www.furfright.org/panel.htm and fill out the online application. 3) Calling All Artists/Writers!
We need furry, Halloween-themed artwork (color and t-shirt art) for our badges, t-shirts, flyers, signs, advertisements, and conbook. We also need comics, short stories, and poetry submissions. FurFright draws attendees from all over the world and we advertise at all the other furry conventions, so this is a great way for artists and writers to get their work seen by the furry masses! WE NEED TO RECEIVE ALL SUBMISSIONS NO LATER THAN AUGUST 31, 2006. But don’t wait until the last minute! Start working on your pics and stories now! 4) Furland Security (Army Needed!)
Our Security Director, Kasi Frost, needs fresh warm bodies for her army of the undead! (oops!) We mean, Security! If you are a mature, responsible person, over the age of 18, and can spare 4 to 12 hours at the con, we want you! Experience with first aid, supervision, and management is a plus. Email your credentials, experience, and availability to Kasi – frostelf A T frostelf D O T com and put "FurFright Security" in the subject line! Don't forget, your volunteer time as security can earn you FREE FurFright t-shirts/DVDs, admission, and more!

5) Planet of Sound (We Need PA Speakers!)
FurFright needs PA speakers for our ballroom events. If you have a pair of PA speakers (passive or bi-amped that can handle 400 watts or more), and/or a sub woofer, and can let us borrow them from Thursday October 19 thru Monday October 23rd, PLEASE contact our sound wah, Runtt, at runtt01 A T yahoo D O T com as soon as possible. If you can help us you’ll get a FREE t-shirt, admission, our undying gratitude, and any other goodies we can scrounge up!

6) Fursuit Games
“Team Tiger” (Punk and Tibor... no relation) has been busy utilizing the latest in technology to fine-tune the Fursuit Massacre. Yes, we've greased up the
valves in our Babbage Engine (which is a strange thing to do to vacuum tubes) and fed the information into our OSI Challenger C4P-MF (freshly upgraded to
48KB RAM). The results will be a souped-up, ramped-up, groovy, wild, cool and swinging baby YEAH Fursuit Massacre the likes of which has never been seen
since... well... last year.
Our playground will be a lot larger this year (we’re moving into a BIG ballroom), and we're cooking up some new games to fill the expanded space.
Also, we need people to help set up props and keep the unruly fursuiters in line, or keep the angry mob of an audience from rushing the stage should things turn ugly. *grins* So if you're interested in helping out with the Fursuit Massacre, send an e-mail to fursuit A T furfright D O T org

8) Staff/Volunteers Needed
FurFright is a volunteer-run con, and it can only survive with your help. 9) Gaming News
Our Gaming Director, Spotweld, has some excellent events in the works, but he wants to get some feedback from all you gamer furs! So check out the gaming room section on the FurFright Bulliten Board (http://furfright.org/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=5) and vote in the Gaming Room Poll so we can include your favorite games! What do you want to see? More Halo? More DDR? More CCGs? Speak up (on the bulletin board or thru email) and let us know!
Also, if you are interested in volunteering in this year's gaming room, or would like to loan us some of your own games or equipment, please drop us an email.

10) What is FurFright?
FurFright. Delicious, refreshing FurFright. But what is FurFright? It’s a difficult question because FurFright is impossible to describe. One might ask the same about birds. What ARE birds? We just don’t know. *laughs* But seriously, FurFright is a firmly established 4th year con that has earned the reputation as one of the most entertaining in the fandom, drawing some of the best artists, writers, panelists, fursuiters, and furs in the community! Last year we welcomed 320 furs into the gorgeous Bradley Sheraton, and this year promises to be bigger and better! We’ve got a huge Dealer’s Dungeon, the Fursuit Massacre (games), dances, parties, 2 game rooms, fursuit parade, Masquerade/Talent show, Charity Auction, tons of hangout space, panels/classes, and so much more! So come see what we have to offer and party with your furry friends!
