THANKS FOR AN AWESOME 2004!

Once again, Furry Weekend Atlanta would like to thank all 270 people who came out and made the first Furry Weekend Atlanta on February 13-15, 2004 such an unbelievable success. Because of your support, it gives us great pleasure to announce that we'll be back in 2005, and we hope to see all of you there!

We'd also like to thank all of our attendees who completed our post-convention survey. Your thoughtful respones will help us in the months ahead in planning for this years' convention. Which reminds me...

PLANS FOR 2005

Furry Weekend Atlanta 2005 is scheduled for February 11-13, 2005 in beautiful Atlanta, Georgia! We had an excellent time at the 2004 convention; for 2005, we have a year's experience under our belts and big plans ahead! We are anticipating an even bigger convention in 2005!

Furry Weekend Atlanta will once again take place in the Holiday Inn Atlanta Airport-North (the staff loved us last year). We're planning lots of fun events including TWO longer dances, panels with our guests, fursuit shows and games, a comedy show, LAN room with 802.11b access, dealers and artists and many other things!

THE FWA LEGACY MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

The Legacy Membership Program is Furry Weekend Atlanta's way of saying thank you to all those who took a chance on us our first year. Members who attended Furry Weekend Atlanta 2004 who are pre-registering for the 2005 convention may purchase a "Legacy" membership for a $5 discount by selecting the appropriate Legacy level and entering their badge number from 2004. The Legacy Program will be discontinued on August 1st, 2004, so get those pre-registrations in early!

DEALERS DEN INFORMATION

The Dealers Den is going to grow a little bit this year, but we fully expect it to sell out early! First registrations go to dealers who attended Furry Weekend Atlanta 2004. General Dealer Registration will begin on August 1st, 2004.

FWA AT RCFM

Furry Weekend Atlanta will be at Rocket City Furmeet in Huntsville, Alabama May 28-30, 2004. We'll have a table in the dealers den where we'll be selling memberships to the 2005 convention as well as leftover shirts and posters from the 2004 convention. We'll also be hosting room parties, so swing by the table for more info!
