Bark and a Lick Furiends!
I’d like to take a moment to invite you to 2004’s Western Pennsylvania Spring Fur-b-que and Meet which is planned for the weekend of June 5 & 6th, 2004
I’m proud to say that I have reserved the Aspinwall Fireman’s Park Pavilion which gives us access to parking, rest rooms, horse shoes, volley ball and the rest of the parks facilities.
I’ve also gotten the thumbs up from a local fur that will be spinning some tunes during the event.
A change in format from previous years…
For the Spring Fur-b-que I’m going to drop the bowling outing late Saturday night and, hopefully, enjoy the entire warm late spring evening at the park.
Sunday morning we’ll meet for breakfast at the local Panera Bread in the Waterworks Mall and Sunday afternoon the Meet will continue at the Pittsburgh Zoo just across the river in Highland Park. (Weather Permitting)
(A note on the Zoo. If guests wish to fursuit at the Zoo, I need to know this when you make your RSVP. We’d need a solid group of 3 or more who are interested however. If there is sufficient interest, I will contact the Zoo’s PR department, let them know ahead of time and they will provide an area where costumers can don and doff their suits.)
So mark your calendars now for some fuzzy fun in the sun in the foothills of the Appalachians. The Western Pennsylvania Spring Fur-b-que and Meet June 5 & 6, 2004!!
