New moons for Neptune

Your rating: None Average: 5 (1 vote)

Joining the complement of 8 previously known moons around the gas giant, the new 3 bring the total up to 11. Using digital imaging to bring out the irregularities around the planet produced three new, small moons. Scientists think this may support the theory of older, regular moons being struck and breaking up into numerous smaller, irregular moons.
