People keep posting threads asking if anyone's near them. Why don't we all just say where we are, and see who's near each other? Instead of a thousand different threads.

I'm currently at Lafayette College (Easton, PA), but will return to a cat-filled house in Blue Bell, PA, after I finish my summer job (doing computer vision research with a professor).

(I assume no liability in the case of radical anti-furry extremists using this thread to find the optimal target for their nuclear attack.)

It's Monday night and that marks the start of my weekend. Only 3 slots open this time because have other work and projects that need attention but I still want to do some lovely work for you guys.

 

Rules: I have a rule for this give away. Scales and feathers only. I feel like our less fluffy members miss out sometimes and I also need practice drawing something that isn't canine or feline.

Laura Seeley is a classical fine artist… one who specializes in animal paintings. What’s more she’s even illustrated several books for children — Originally for various authors, but more recently for works she’s written herself. With galleries on her web site having names like “The Magic Cats”, “The Whimsy Cats”, and “A Cat Never Tells”, you can see where she’s coming from… though she does draw plenty of dogs and even whales, too! According to her web site, Best Friends Art Gallery, she plans on having pictures from her book projects up very soon.

She is a maned wolf/werewolf/muntjac (I'm not really sure how to describe this!). I'm not thrilled by female secondary sex characteristics so I gave her some technically male ones instead.

I'm still exploring this furry thing, but one thing I do know is that I love looking at and making this kind of art. There are so many cool fursonas out there that can provide a challenge for me to draw; and the degree of appreciation for this kind of art is encouraging to me.
