Alt.fan.furry AKA "Alt.Flame.Furry" - greyscales reminiscing about earlier times.
I was just reminiscing about the days of Usenet and Alt.Fan.Furry ... essentially, before Reddit there was this thing called Usenet ...
It's been a long, long time ... and did I mention once owning a 300 baud modem? Yeah - 300 bytes per second. Attached to a Commodore Vic-20, which had 5 Kilobytes of memory. 1 Megahertz processor speed on an 8-bit system.

Is there a discrete way of finding out if someone is a furry?
I suspect my roommate of being a furry. He loves FNAF and has a copy of Sly Cooper.

I need more practice so I'm taking more requests! I want to draw for you!
Doing requests again! Might color them this time. Going to start them in a few hours.
My style is inconsistent at the moment, so I apologize beforehand if some come out better than others. I'm trying to get better and figure out what I want from my style.
If you'd like one, please post a reference sheet and a description of what you want.
If I've done a request for you before, I might skip you, but then I might not, depending on how many requests I get. And I apologize beforehand if I don't take yours!
Will be posting them on to my FA: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/moondogg/
If I don't post anything for a few hours, I fell asleep and will start up again in the morning!

New furry on a budget?
So, I'm new to the furry community (sort of, lurked for many years prior) and I'm still pretty closeted. I'm kinda broke, so what would you guys suggest for someone dipping their toes in and/or doesn't have a lot of money to spend? It does seem like an expensive hobby.

Spiritual Furry Feels Alienated at His Local Furmeet
Entanglement
Here is a short from the upcoming new Star Wars series. This new series takes place before Episode IV.
Foxy just wanted to have some adventure is all.
The Most Famous Furry in the World?
It’s quite possible that Mickey Mouse could well be that — though, of course, Bugs Bunny could also be considered a serious contender. Still, The Mouse has been around the longest, and author Garry Apgar decided to take a look what possibly accounts for Mickey’s world-wide appeal in a new hardcover book. “Since his modest debut in 1928, Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse has evolved into arguably the world’s most recognized and beloved fictional figure. Mickey Mouse: Emblem of the American Spirit is the illustrated biography of a unique cartoon character, his life and times, and his impact and influence around the world in art and literature. Part art history and part cultural study, Apgar’s Mickey Mouse narrates how the character was initially developed by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks, how his irrepressible spirit grew to huge popularity during the Depression, and how he became a politically charged cultural icon of international reach.” You can order the book at Midtown Comics. It’s coming later this month from Simon & Schuster.
