Does anyone have any animal-specific quirks you've picked up?

Furry Reddit - Wed 21 Jan 2015 - 13:30

I don't even know how to phrase this one do I'll get right to the point.

Living in California, we had hot summers. Sure you can drink a bottle or glass of water, but I swear it tasted better if you just poured a bowl and dunked your face in.

Also, I picked up a wire brush (for long hair dogs...) one day, for giggles, turns out that thing makes my hair feel like pure silk.

Both things started off not being serious, I swear.

Anyone got some fun stories and quirks?

Freak Out Moment

Furry Reddit - Wed 21 Jan 2015 - 12:50

Reading an apology post this morning, and someone comments with a zombie furry pic. No biggie.

I'm driving to work, look in my rear view mirror... And there's a hand print on my rear window. -_-

A while back I asked you guys some questions to help me with an animation.

Furry Reddit - Wed 21 Jan 2015 - 10:26

All of your answers were super helpful and interesting and I can't thank you all enough! The animation went through a lot of stages while I was figuring out how to make it work. I am not finished with it, and I don't know when I will be. The questions I asked may not have a direct influence on the animation as it is now, but they definitely helped me to get my mind on track.

The animation is still a huge WIP. It is sketchy and not fully thought out yet, and my idea may keep changing. But here it is as I have it now. Let me know what you guys think and what it means to you.

Watch furries get down on the dance floor at the Furcon Masquerade

Furries In The Media - Wed 21 Jan 2015 - 08:26

Here is another article in the Silicon Valley Business Journal, about Further Confusion 2015:
http://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2015/01/20/watch-furries-get-down-on-the-dance-floor-at-the.html

San Jose was a lot furrier this weekend, as droves of friendly folks dressed up as cuddly animals descended on the city to meet, mingle and dance at Furcon 2015.

Photographer Vicki Thompson was on the ground in the convention, meeting the regulars and attending the Masquerade dance complete with costumes, smoke machines and a DJ.

What does a Furcon dance look like? Click through the slideshow to find out.

Furcon is serious business for San Jose, Further Confusion 2015 is expected to generate $3 million for San Jose merchants as furries occupy 3,200 hotel rooms, said Ben Roschke at Team San Jose, the nonprofit group that promotes the city as a destination and runs the convention center.

Also, as editor-in-chief Greg Baumann wrote last time the convention was in town, it's the best chance of injecting a bit of eccentricity into a city whose culture is overshadowed by San Francisco.
