Hey guys and gals, Its Ringgar! I wanted to try out something I thought would be a fun idea, a choose-your-adventure style roleplay as your fursona! Just pick up where the roleplay leaves off, no need to be shy! Here are the choices:

• Ringgar is collecting berries in the forest, when all of a sudden, he trips and falls down a hole, into your den. What will you do?

• Ring is sick in bed. Being a good neighbor, you decide to help him out.

• Your fursona hears munching. You round the corner and spy Ringgar munching on the last cookie from the cookie jar! He turns around and looks at you, mouth full, crumbs falling out of his mouth. What do you do?

Here is a reference for Ringgar, if you need it. Feel free to swap the roles as well. Onward, to adventure!

Does anyone prefer this one over the old one?

It'll probably grow on me. The old one did seem a bit too feralish. But it didn't look like it was ready to go on a romp through the singles bar either.

I personally am a huge fan of electronic although I am still expanding my library an i'm currently stuck on "Voicians". Just would love to hear from you guys!

edit: So I guess since everyone is making awesome lists, i'll have to make one too since my one is kinda pathetic. Here is what I listen to currently (mostly electronic and rock): Voicians, Celldweller, Nothing More, Star Set, Blue Stahli, ENV, Monstercat (various artists like rogue, pegboard nerds, tristam, Mr. Fijiwiji. etc.), Incubus, The glitch Mob and others. I am always looking for more though!

Hi there. As I mentioned in the title, I've recently discovered I'm a furry. It feels weird to type this, and may sound weird to you (hopefully not). I've made a new account since I'm not ready to be public about this yet.

Um, I've had an account on FurAffinity for some time. I was "furcurious", if you will, for a while. But I didn't want to be open about it to anyone because I was surrounded by negative stereotypes about what furries are. Accusations of bestiality and the like. But I pressed on.

Did I mention I'm gay (male)? This is the first time I've told anyone this other than one friend who came out to me first. And now I'm getting it out in the open. Feels weird too. But, to get back on track, surrounded by negative stereotypes of furries. My friends casually bash them for "sex with animals" presumably because they heard it elsewhere. I assure you, they're good friends. But a lot of humor where I live has to be based on verbal assault of another party.

I decided mindless bashers weren't the best place to get my information about furries, especially since I was furcurious. So I looked it up on TV Tropes and on WikiFur, and my mind was put at ease when my suspicions were confirmed that the stereotypes were just that and only that.

One of my other friends, whom I met online, being an open gay furry probably helped me not succumb to the hivemind of mindless bashing. Especially since he's one of the nicest guys I know. Shame I don't talk to him much anymore...

Now, I have some questions... I'd appreciate any support you can give me :)

1) Who should I tell? I mentioned the "cool guy" towards the end who I should probably tell. My close friend who also came out to me is another I'm thinking of telling, but he's bashed furries before. From what I've seen, some furries frown upon other furries making a big deal out of being scared of coming out (since "it's just a hobby, right?"), so sorry if this upsets anyone.

2) Etiquette! Any "That Guy"s I should avoid being? Any vocab I should know?

3) Do I need to pick a species/create a fursona? To what extent does it help?

4) Anything else I need to know? Maybe there's a glaring flaw in my behavior visible in this post...

Anyway, I'm hoping to connect with you on this subreddit and perhaps other sites too. It feels wonderful to finally get all this off my chest, and you seem like such a welcoming community! :)
